Marlow Gecko Climbing Rope

Marlow Gecko climbing rope specifically designed as an arborist's rope.

Gecko is constructed with a tough and durable 16 plait polyester cover and a braided polyester core. This combination makes the rope very supple, hard wearing and strong. To further increase the abrasion resistance, each individual yarn in the cover has been treated with the Marlow Abrasion Resistance Coating as standard. Gecko is CE certified and available from us in a variety of forms.

Yale XTC is a tight braid consisting of 16 individual strands of DuPont's Dacron polyester plied over "Para-ep" Olefin. A high twist core of torque balanced polyester keeps the construction firm and round, providing an extra measure of safety. Yale XTC is an excellent choice for both climbing line and bull rope due to its non-snagging, abrasion-resistant construction and excellent energy absorption characteristics. Yale XTC is easier to see in the tree. Half of the cover strands are of a bright colour resulting in permanent colouration that won't fade or run with use.
